Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of Dementia which works on our brain waves and interrupts them. Though aging places the biggest threat of getting Alzheimer’s and that’s something that we can’t stop.
A chronic neurodegenerative disease what that means is it starts slow and continues to get worse over time affecting memory at first. Studies have shown that 60 to 70 percent of Dementia cases are caused by Alzheimers Disease.
Alzheimer’s affects our brain cells and prevents them from doing their job. Like many things in our body that depend on each other to function properly our brain cells depend on one another.
As the cells lose there ability do their jobs they will die to cause irreversible damage to our brain.

There are many factors in determining what causes Alzheimer’s Disease and people differ in many ways. But what we have found is that increasing age is one of the main factors in Alzheimer’s. As we age past the age of 65 to 70 our chances double.
Other factors that could be the reasons why you might get Alzheimer’s is Genetically through your genes.
Head trauma injuries to the brain tissues can help lead to Alzheimer’s.

(7. Childlike Behavior) dependent on another person following them around
(8. Lack of Interest) withdrawal from family and friends

(10. Aggression) could be verbally outbursts or physically abusiveness
I could go on and on about the symptoms but these that I’ve written here you might see more often.
We know that we never want to have a positive Alzheimers Diagnoses. But it can happen and if you get one a question would be what to do next. You will need support from your doctor and family members and want to have all the most recent and accurate information available.
Though you will want to learn about all there is to know about Alzheimer’s and if there is any way to reverse its symptoms to get rid of it.
Researchers have been doing studies on Alzheimer’s reversing and come up with some very encouraging results.

Great article, alzheimers has affected so many people that I know and is becoming an issues more and more these days. I think the best advice is eat healthy, live healthy and enjoy the life you have.

Very informative article. Currently, there is no cure for Alzheimers but I hope and pray that researchers will soon find a way to reverse this because this has affected the lives of many people. But just like what you wrote, there is still hope. Thanks again for sharing this.
Thanks for the comment, Nathan, researchers at this time looking to reverse the effects of Alzheimer's. They are making some good progress and have come up with some things that might work. We don't know if it will but we have hope.
I put Alzheimers disease right up there with cancer. Both of them are scary to me! Can it also be hereditary? No one in my family with it, so was hoping that helps as well.
Thank you for commenting on this Leahrae. As far as I have studied there is no connection between Alzheimers and heredity. Now the scientist is still studying this and there are a few exceptions to this.
Hi Fred, really interesting article and it is great you are bringing awareness to this subject as it really is a big killer of our times.
It's just astounding that our risks double between the ages of 65 and 70, and as people are living longer these days they have more and more chance of getting it.
A healthy diet and exercise will always go a long way towards protection of many aging diseases and I think you can still make some difference no matter how late you start.
I have heard many times that turmeric supplements are great for lowering the risk so many things including Alzheimer's and there is a lot of research still going on and discoveries being made about it. We know that it's a powerful anti-inflammatory, which is one of the reasons behind Alzheimer's and many other diseases, so it makes sense.
I have both my parents on homemade turmeric paste and they love it and feel great, so I'm hoping this will help protect them.

Thanks, Stefanie, for the comment and yes turmeric just fine to help with this disease. There are many supplements and vitamins our body needs ad all help with it healthy. But I think we need to focus more on brain health to give it an extra boost.

I have read several reports that Alzheimer's disease is considered type III diabetes because brain scans of people with type II diabetes are eerily similar to brain scans of people with demetia. Have you heard anything about this and what are your thoughts?
Thank you for the comment, Irma. You know I have never heard that before even though they may be something to it I have never heard it. There is probably many diseases with similar symptoms if it is researched. Just like how Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Parkinson's is all related.
